Adam Smith is a supervisor and Level 3 rope technician who has been an integral part of the WHA team since 2012. As part of his career progression, Adam has taken an active role as a trainer at Thomson Bridge providing height safety training in many courses provided by the registered training organisation.
Adam delivers training in working at heights, vertical rescue and confined space. He is an active contributor to our Global Wind Organisation Basic Safety Training programs.
Adam is a career professional in Rope Access Services. His training delivery draws on his extensive experiences in planning and implementing rope access assignments in the commercial and industrial environments.
Adam joins Thomson Bridge as part of an industry partnership that our Company has established with WHS Rope Access, a specialist provider of rope access services. This partnership is designed to augment our in house skills in heights and rescue in the Transmission and Wind Energy sectors.
Adam has undertaken assignments across many environments including industrial, commercial and agriculture. He has significant experience in confined space activities having worked in boilers, silos and other challenging assets. Today, he plans and oversees crews of up to 15 to implement complex, and often high risk, rope access assignments.
Adam has a strong back ground in WHS process and procedures.
WHA employs subject matter experts that have a passion for passing on their skills and knowledge in working at heights and vertical rescue techniques. All hold IRATA or industry equivalent qualifications and have worked in the industry for several years in Australia and internationally.
This partnership with WHA enables our programs to be dynamic and relevant to our clients and offer flexibility as programs evolve to meet industry needs.
